I wrote the chorus to Rising Tide while standing outside with my dog on a cold winter night in the country. In Finnish culture, we have a concept called Sisu that does not have a direct translation in English but it roughly means one having grit and determination in the face of adversity. The person in Rising Tide has Sisu.
